On Friday October 10th 2008 Miley Cyrus took on Hannah Montana to perform a free concert at the Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre in Irvine, California. Tickets were given out as party favors to those who attended her Sweet 16th Birthday Celebration the previous Sunday and the remainder of the seats were given out to ocatv.com seat fillers.
Lauren and her little sister Sara origionally had these seats because they attended Miley’s Birthday and didn’t try for tickets as seatfillers like I did although they were given some good fortune. Lauren is quite the ideal concert attendee, she sings and dances and acts like a complete fan; which lead concert hosts to ask her if she would like to move up with her sister to the pit for the rest of the taping.
They were lucky enough to have front row to the catwalk at first, and eventually thoughout the 18 song set (each of the 9 songs was recorded twice) they were able to have front row seats in a 10,000person+ arena.
Most of Hannah’s performance outfits for Season 3 seem to be very 80’s hip with one being country. All of her outfits were adorable besides one half blue half pink dress that was slightly questionable, but knowing that it’s a Hannah Montana concert and not Miley, Hannah can get away with wearing anything (and she does).
^^The Dress of Question. I think it’s great as a performance dress, but would an average 16 year old performer wear that on stage?
Overall, whether you were there for the taping or wound up finding the videos on youtube, it’s clear to see that dispite the controversy surrounding Miley as an individual, as a 15 year old girl she truly has made a name (and a brand) for herself that captures everyones attention. Her performances at Verizo were flawless and her voice becomes more in tune and superb each time. I personally can’t wait to watch season three of Hannah Montana and see what they have up their sleeves for the show. From what we have seen from the performances, it will be a great season that I will tivo every episode.

I didn’t see her but i’ll ask lauren and get back to you. I know for sure that her sister Brandy was there, and Justin (rumored boyfriend) was there on stage as well while Miley was in costume change.

i was there , i wasnt a seatfiller nor did i go to her b day bash
but i got lawn seats and was able to work my way to 7th row.
her grandma and her mom took seats near mine.
mitchel musso performed. and emily was there too say hi.
but actually being there the performance wasnt nearly as great from the videos ive seen of her bobw tour
even without the interuptions
the crowd didnt have energy, more then half of the audiene was sitting down
but i do prefer my 4th pit seats when JB was there
